Save the children.  Do your job, raise your kids, please. If you can't, stop having them.

There was a time when loyalty was rewarded.  The problem is, we as a society have lost our backbone to move on and stop being comfortable. As such, loyalty is not only not rewarded, but it is punished.  People who show no loyalty get better deals, save money, and progress in their careers faster.  Fantastic.
