I love the Eagles, to almost an unhealthy level. We as fans fill that stadium every single game. Every game. We get touted as the worst fans in the league, but please, give me a break.
Do you think we’re worse than Buffalo? Worse than Phoenix? WE FILL THE STADIUM. I doubt half ofg the people in these “cities” know that they even have a team.
We have a 100 year waiting list for season tickets. I can’t even get to a game without paying 150+ a ticket, and I’m willing to do it.
Please, some of us may be assholes, but we are ALL die hard fans. We care about one thing, and one thing only, a parade on broad street.
That’s it. We have tremendous loyalty to the true Players wearing green, but no remorse for the morons who don’t bring it 100% of the time. Bitch about your contract, we don’t care. Don’t show up to training camp and choke up all season, we don’t care. Bring it, 100% of the time, and you own our city.
Dawkins.
Westbrook.
Sheldon Brown.
Crunch.
These are some of guys on the current squad that, if traded or released (barring old age, sorry Dawk ), would cause a mutiny. I honestly believe fans in philly would destroy the stadium.
Yes, we threw snowballs at Santa, but he showed up in a middle of a blizzard drunk off of his gourd. Please, don’t insult the philly fans, they are the only ones within the confines of the stadiums allowed to be drunk.
I’ll be the first to admit that the Philadelphia Eagles are 100x better under the current front office and coaching than they were in my lifetime.
If Randall Cunningham, Reggie White, Seth Joyner, Quick, Byars, Allen, McMillan, Hopkins had this front office, they would have brought in a superbowl, even with the ridiculous squad that the cowboys had back then.
I love Heckert. I love Reid. I love Johnson. love Laurie.
Look at what these guys have accomplished since 99. They are 88-56. Sorry, after Rhodes and Kotite, these guys are freaking amazing. One is the head coach
Look at Reid’s assistant Coaches, one is Head Choaching Baltimore, and other Minnesota (who is looking ridiculous this season).
So please, Philly fans, stop blaming recent woes on Reid. Next time you feel the need to hate on this guy, please look at what he’s done for our city.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I still get angry at the front office. We have very defined needs, and I haven’t the slightest idea why we can’t fill them.
We have very young line backers, but I think that Gaither can hold it together and I hope that Bradley is nasty in the center.
We have a huge problem at Safety, as 2008 is Dawk’s last year. Instead of drafting a rockstar, or going after one in Free-agency or trades, we’re hoping that Mikell and Demps (both named Quinten), can fill the gap.
I like Mikell, a lot of people don’t, but he’ll be okay. But Demps, this is a long shot, and dawk’s shoes are VERY hard to fill. I want a guy like Reed, or Taylor (RIP).
Philly needs to stop this bullshit finesse defense crap, and CRIPPLE other teams like we used to.
That’s why I love Dawk.
That’s why I love Cole.
That’s why I love Brown.
Every fan remembers that hit. You know what Sheldon said it felt like to plow through Reggie Bush? He said, "It felt like a cardboard box man, a cardboard box."
THis is the kind of guy we need in philly.
We need hard hitters, the kind of guys who DECIMATE other players and bring momentum and energy to the team.
Please oh gods of the front office, bring home some nasty hitters for us. Let me relive the nastiness that was the 90’s defense.

Now, on to the offense… or should I say Brian Westbrook.
Westbrook is our offense.
A lot of fans say that he should get the ball more, use him while he’s great.
I agree.
But I also disagree.
This is a guy that can make magic happen, but please, GIVE HIM SOME HELP. Our offensive line is absolutely AMAZING, but our passing game is weaksauce.
I have some issues with Wide Receivers, but not as much as some other fans. I love Kevin Curtis, and I think that he would make an absolutely obscene slot receiver.
I have some issues with Reggie Brown, but that’s mainly due to his consistency. Last year he and McNabb had issues in the beginning of the season, but he started to heat up a little at the end of the season, so I hope that momentum continues.
Here is my issue, those guys can’t get off of the line. The brilliant game these guys had last year, was against the lions, whose corners gave these guys 10 yards of cushion. If Curtis can get off of the line, he will decimate you.
We need a ligitmate receiver who can PUSH CORNERS Out of the way. This doesn’t have to be a brilliant WR, just a solid one, who can get open. Run 5-7 yards, get open and give McNabb an out.
With a guy like this, Westbrook would get a little more space.
Now, our QB. I love McNabb when he’s healthy. This is a guy that makes magic happen with the ball, and lets face it, he IS THE REASON we were in the playoffs so many years this past decade. I hope to god he can stay healthy, otherwise, I hope Reid is right about Kolb, as he was about Westbrook.
Eagles are considered 4/4 in the NFC East. That’s right, the Giants, Cowboys and Redskins are ranked higher than the eagles. Time for us to come and dominate this devision again.
Reid and company have made some obscene gambles and replaced almost all of our defense with young guys.
We are making a huge gamble assuming that Lito will be happy as a nickel corner, and cause no drama. Oh, and get this, he just signed with Drew Rosenhaus. Fan-freaking-tastic.
The Eagles are making a huge gamble assuming Westbrook will continue to kill himself for the money He’s making. (Westy, I love you, but do your f*cking job or you’ll be on another team and fade to mediocrity)
Damn I'm excited about football.

i think the Eagles are headed for a 10-6 season and a 1st round loss in the playoffs.
Hopefully they can be better, but I just can't see them winning the NFC, which sucks.
