This week’s Mail Bag asked some interesting questions. I will do my best to come up with some answers.
Andrew from Piscataway, NJ asks:
Did you see DeSean Jackson’s “Fumble” on Monday night? What do you think of that idiot? Do you forgive him because you are an Eagles fan?
I absolutely do not forgive that retard. He was playing in what might be the most heated rivalry in professional football and he could have cost the Eagles a touchdown. If he throws that ball forward, the ball belongs to the Cowboys on the twenty yard line. Not to mention, this is not the first time he’s done something like that. In high school he did a swan dive from the five yard line, came up short, and was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct.
I hope Andy Reid really teaches this kid a lesson. If there is one thing I am sure of, it is Andy Reid does not stand for misconduct from wide receivers.
Dave from Cherry Hill, NJ asks:
Nice job picking the Bungals and Rams last week. Do you finally recognize that these are the two worst teams in the NFL?
I have to say, the Rams looked dreadful last week again. Until the Monday night game against Dallas, I was also beginning to question the legitimacy of the Eagles blowout win during week 1. Against the Giants, Marc Bulger could not hit a receiver to save his life. Providing he did have time to set and throw the ball, it would not have mattered. The guy used to be a decent quarterback, but who knows what happened. The play that comes to mind is a play action where the Giants pass rush was picked up. Bulger took a five step drop, set, took a few steps forward, and unleashed a deep throw to a wide open Tory Holt. In a situation where an under thrown ball would not have hurt him, the football was overthrown and incomplete. Bulger just doesn’t have it anymore, and that was the point in the game where I knew the Rams would not win. I think it was only 20-6 at the time.
As for the Bengals? Well, let’s just say I had a little more faith in Carson Palmer. Who knows what is wrong with that team. I need to see a drastic improvement in their next game before I pick them again.

The Phils won last night! Both the Brewers and the Mets lost! Do you think the Phillies can do it?
I am not even going to begin to venture an answer after the first full day of the race. It is going to be tight. I think these three teams will go game for game up to the end. I am certainly pulling for my Phillies, but this race will be more than meets the eye, I’m sure.

Did you see Tina Fey play Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live? Wasn’t that great!
Tina Fey looks just like Sarah Palin. I think it is funny how all she really has to do is put on that Midwestern accent. There is no denying that she was cute. I just urge voters to remember that they are voting for Sarah Palin, not Tina Fey. If Tina Fey was running for President, at this point I might consider voting for her. I am just waiting for the day Jerry Jones runs for President and tries to use the past success of the Dallas Cowboys as resume experience.
Think about it. Even though I hate Jerry Jones you know he would surround himself with winners. Even if he brings success to the United States at the expense of our nation’s reputation, well, we know it can’t get any worse right?
I would say we are two or three elections away from nominating a likeable celebrity for President.
